Terms of Sale, Use & Limited Warranty

By purchasing, assembling, installing, or using the hardware (“Product”) and/or firmware (“Software”) provided by Printess Technologies LLC, you (“User”) agree to the following terms.

1. Product Nature

The kit is intended for DIY assembly and educational, hobbyist, or research purposes only.

The Product is not certified as a medical device, and no claim is made as to its suitability for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.

The User is solely responsible for the assembly, configuration, and operation of the component kit once received.

2. Compliance and Safety

The User is solely responsible for ensuring that assembly, operation, and use of the Product and Software comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards in their jurisdiction.

Proper protective equipment and safety precautions must be followed at all times. This kit is not a toy, and its use shall be consistent with common machine shop practice. Hands must be kept away from moving parts, hair must be tied back, and jewelry must not be worn. Keep fingers away from the motors.

3. Experimental Use Only

The Product and Software are provided for research, prototyping, and educational purposes only.

They are not certified for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.

4. No Warranty on Software

The Software is provided “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The User assumes all responsibility and risk for installing, modifying, or using the Software.

5. Hardware Limited Warranty (3 Months)

Coverage

  • Printess Technologies LLC warrants that hardware components of the kit will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three (3) months from the date of delivery.
  • During this period, defective parts will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the User.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, improper assembly, or operation outside documented guidelines.
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or firmware not supplied by Printess Technologies LLC.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., downtime, lost materials, data loss, lost profits).

User Responsibilities

The User must provide proof of purchase and notify Printess Technologies LLC within the warranty period to make a claim.

Limitation

  • This warranty is limited strictly to repair or replacement of defective parts only.
  • It does not extend to refunds, full product replacement, or liability for damages arising from the use of the Product.

6. Assumption of Risk

The User acknowledges that use of the Product and Software may involve mechanical, electrical, or material hazards.

The User assumes all risks associated with assembling, operating, or integrating the component kit, including but not limited to equipment damage, material loss, injury, or property damage.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Printess Technologies LLC, its developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, assembly, or inability to use the Product or Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

BY PURCHASING AND USING THIS PRODUCT AND SOFTWARE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SALE, USE, AND LIMITED WARRANTY.
